(the “Contest”) OFFICIAL RULES (the “Rules”)
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Participants must have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence and must be legal residents of Canada in order to participate. During the Contest Period, consumers may visit www.temptationstreats.ca/en-ca/contest (the “Contest Website”) to view these Rules, the applicable UGC Policy, and details regarding the official Contest hashtag and participation requirements. To enter, eligible participants must follow the social media entry instructions described below
- SPONSOR AND ADMINISTRATOR. The Contest is sponsored by Mars Canada Inc. (the “Contest Sponsor”) and is administered on behalf of the Contest Sponsor by Elite Digital Inc. (the “Administrator”).
- ELIGIBILITY. The Contest is open to legal residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry, excluding employees, agents and representatives of the Contest Sponsor or the Administrator, their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, advertising or marketing agencies, and the immediate family members (parents, spouses, siblings, children and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) of any of the foregoing, or persons living in the same household, whether related or not (collectively, the “Contest Parties”). To be eligible, participants must have Internet access and hold a valid public Instagram or TikTok account at the time of participation, which account must remain public through winner verification in order for the entry to be validated. Each individual may enter the Contest only one (1) time per calendar day, regardless of the number of videos posted, the platform used (Instagram or TikTok), or the number of accounts held. A “day” is defined as a twenty‑four (24) hour period from 12:00:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) to 11:59:59 p.m. ET on the same calendar day. If a participant’s identity is disputed, the authorized account holder of the social media account used to participate in the Contest will be deemed to be the participant. The authorized account holder is the natural person to whom the account was assigned by the applicable social media platform. A participant may be required to provide reasonable proof that they are the authorized account holder of the account associated with the Contest entry. If participating via a mobile device, standard data charges may apply. Participants are encouraged to check with their wireless service provider for details regarding applicable data charges. Participants are solely responsible for any such charges.
- CONTEST PERIOD. The Contest begins on May 18, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. ET and ends on June 28, 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET (the “Contest Period”). No entries will be accepted outside of the Contest Period, and all entries must be submitted during the Contest Period.
- HOW TO ENTER. No purchase is necessary to enter the Contest. During the Contest Period, to obtain one (1) valid entry, an eligible participant must:
- Publish an original video on TikTok or Instagram. An “Original Video” means a video generated, created and published by the participant, in respect of which the participant holds all rights, title and authorizations necessary to submit it to the Contest and to permit its use by the Contest Sponsor in accordance with these Rules and the Masters of the Universe × Temptations UGC Policy available at the following link https://temptationstreats.ca/ugc (the “UGC Policy”). Without limiting the foregoing, an Original Video must:
- Be the result of the participant’s own creative work and must not be copied, reproduced, adapted or derived, in whole or in part, from a third‑party work;
- Not infringe any third‑party rights, including without limitation copyright, moral rights, trademark rights, rights of publicity, privacy rights or any other intellectual property or personal rights;
- Not contain any third‑party content (including music, images, videos, audiovisual excerpts, characters, logos, trademarks or artistic works), except for:
- Music, sounds, filters or effects made natively available by Instagram or TikTok,
- Used in accordance with the applicable platform terms of use, and
- Solely within the original post constituting the Contest entry;
- Comply at all times with these Rules and the UGC Policy, which forms an integral part of these Rules;
- Not contain, and not have been created using, generative artificial intelligence tools or synthetic, manipulated or AI-generated visual or audio content, including AI-generated images, video, voice, music, filters or effects, except for standard native platform tools expressly permitted under these Rules; and
- Be original to the participant, comply with these Rules and the UGC Policy, and be posted during the Contest Period as part of the participant’s Contest entry.
The original video must feature the participant’s own cat. The participant represents and warrants that they are the owner or primary caregiver of the cat appearing in the video and that they are authorized to submit its image in connection with the Contest in accordance with these Rules and the UGC Policy.
The participant represents, warrants and acknowledges that they are solely responsible for the content of the original video, that they hold all rights necessary to submit it and grant the licence contemplated herein, without restriction and without third‑party recourse, and that they will indemnify the Contest Sponsor and the Contest Parties against any claim arising from a breach of this representation. If any other identifiable adult individual appears in or is audible in the original video, the participant represents and warrants that they have obtained that individual’s consent to appear in the video and to permit its use in accordance with these Rules.
- Ensure that the social media account used to participate in the Contest is set to public at the time the original video is published and remains public until the winners have been confirmed;

- If entering via Instagram, tag @temptationscats in the Instagram post. If entering via TikTok, tag @temptationscats in the TikTok post;
- Comply with all content requirements, conditions and obligations set out in these Rules and the UGC Policy.
Entries submitted via Stories, including Stories saved as highlights, are not accepted. Posting a video multiple times or posting on multiple platforms on the same calendar day will result in only one (1) entry for that day. For greater certainty, the publication of multiple videos or multiple posts on the same calendar day, including across different platforms, will entitle a participant to only one (1) entry for that day.
No other method of participation will be accepted. Any entries that do not fully comply with these Rules may be disqualified, at the sole discretion of the Contest Sponsor or the Administrator.
No entry may be submitted on behalf of another person. Participants may not use multiple accounts to increase their chances of winning. Any attempt to manipulate the Contest, submit fraudulent multiple entries, or otherwise fail to comply with these Rules will result in immediate disqualification.
Without limiting any other provision of these Rules or the UGC Policy, the Contest Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion and at any time, to disqualify any entry and to request the removal or deletion of any video or other content submitted in connection with the Contest that:
- fails to comply with these Rules or the UGC Policy;
- infringes or misappropriates any third‑party rights or otherwise exposes the Contest Sponsor to legal, regulatory or reputational risk;
- is deemed offensive, inappropriate, misleading, dangerous, or inconsistent with the image or values of the Contest Sponsor; or
- raises concerns relating to safety, animal welfare, the treatment of animals, or potential liability, including content that depicts, encourages, stages, or could reasonably be perceived as causing distress, risk, or harm to any animal
Any request by the Contest Sponsor to remove content or any disqualification of an entry shall not give rise to any compensation and shall not affect any other rights or remedies available to the Contest Sponsor under these Rules or at law.
- NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. No purchase is required to enter the Contest or to win a prize, and making a purchase will not increase a participant’s chances of winning. Participation in the Contest is permitted solely in accordance with the method described in Section 4 of these Rules, namely by publishing an Original Video on Instagram or TikTok, in compliance with the requirements set out in these Rules and the UGC Policy. Any attempt to participate in the Contest through any means other than those expressly provided for in these Rules will not be accepted and will result in the participant’s disqualification.
- HOW TO WIN THE GRAND PRIZE. Following the end of the Contest Period, all eligible entries received during the Contest Period and submitted in compliance with these Rules will be evaluated by a judging panel composed of representatives of the Contest Sponsor with relevant expertise in brand, marketing and content creation, based on the following judging criteria:
- Creativity and originality of the video – 40%
- Relevance to the brand and the Contest theme – 30%
- Entertainment value of the content – 20%
- Overall quality of the video – 10%
The evaluation of entries and the selection of the grand prize winner will take place on July 15, 2026, or on or about that date. The entry that receives the highest overall score based on the judging criteria set forth above will be designated as the potential grand prize winner, subject to compliance with these Rules and verification of eligibility. The judges’ decisions will be based solely on the judging criteria and are final and binding. In the event of a tie, the judges will break the tie based on the entry that receives the higher score in the criterion of Creativity and originality of the video, and if still tied, by reference to the remaining judging criteria in the order listed above. No individual feedback or justification will be provided with respect to the evaluation of entries.
The potential grand prize winner will be contacted in accordance with the procedures set out in these Rules and must satisfy all applicable conditions, including without limitation executing and returning any documents required by the Contest Sponsor, in order to be declared the official grand prize winner.
7. HOW TO WIN A SECONDARY PRIZE. Following the end of the Contest Period and after the selection of the grand prize winner, all other eligible entries received during the Contest Period and submitted in compliance with these Rules will be evaluated by the judging panel in accordance with the same judging criteria applicable to the grand prize. Secondary prizes will be awarded to the entries that receive the highest overall scores following the grand prize winning entry, based on the judging criteria set out in these Rules, until all available secondary prizes have been awarded. Subject to compliance with these Rules, each participant may win only one (1) prize, either the grand prize or a secondary prize.
Potential secondary prize winners will be contacted in accordance with the procedures set out in these Rules and must satisfy all applicable conditions, including, without limitation, executing and returning any documents required by the Contest Sponsor, in order to be declared official secondary prize winners. The judges’ decisions are final and binding and not subject to appeal. In the event of a tie, the judges will break the tie based on the entry that receives the higher score in the criterion of Creativity and originality of the video, and if still tied, by reference to the remaining judging criteria in the order listed above.
8. PRIZES. A total of eleven (11) prizes are available in the Contest, consisting of one (1) grand prize and ten (10) secondary prizes. No more prizes will be awarded than the number expressly stated herein. Prizes must be accepted as awarded. Except as otherwise expressly provided in these Rules, prizes are not exchangeable, transferable, assignable or redeemable for cash, credit or any other form of compensation. Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the case of the grand prize only, and solely in the event that the grand prize cannot be awarded as described in these Rules for reasons beyond the control of the Contest Sponsor, the Contest Sponsor retains the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute the grand prize with a cash payment equal to its maximum stated value. The awarding of any prize is subject to verification of compliance with these Rules. All costs and expenses associated with the acceptance and use of a prize that are not expressly indicated herein as being covered are the sole responsibility of the winners. The Contest Sponsor makes no representations or warranties of any kind regarding the appearance, safety or performance of any prize. The Contest Sponsor reserves the right not to award the grand prize, without any obligation to award such prize to another participant. Replacement of a missing prize is at the sole discretion of the Contest Sponsor. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. A prize may be forfeited if verification cannot be completed after reasonable efforts by the Contest Sponsor.
a. One (1) grand prize will be awarded to the eligible participant whose entry receives the highest overall score in accordance with the judging criteria set out in these Rules. The grand prize consists of the design and construction of a cat patio (“catio”), inspired by the Masters Of The Universe, at the confirmed winner’s residence, by a contractor selected by the Contest Sponsor, with a maximum total value of ten thousand Canadian dollars (CAD $10,000), taxes included. The grand prize includes only the design and construction services for the catio, as determined by the Contest Sponsor in collaboration with the designated contractor. The final design, materials used, dimensions, placement, technical feasibility and aesthetic elements shall be determined at the sole discretion of the Contest Sponsor, subject to applicable technical, regulatory and safety constraints. The completion of the grand prize, if applicable, will occur within a reasonable period following winner confirmation, subject to the constraints set out in these Rules. No specific completion date is guaranteed and all timelines are indicative only. The winner acknowledges that the design and construction work will be carried out by an independent contractor. Any agreement, execution terms, warranties or liabilities relating to such work shall be governed by a separate contractual relationship between the winner and the contractor. None of the Contest Parties is a party to such agreement, and none of them assumes any responsibility in connection therewith. The Contest Sponsor reserves the right to cease acting as intermediary or facilitator between the winner and the contractor, without further obligation, including in the event of a dispute between them or a breach of the separate agreement. The grand prize is intended exclusively for the benefit of the cat featured in the winning original video. The winner represents and warrants that they are the owner or primary caregiver of the cat appearing in the winning video and acknowledges that the grand prize is designed and constructed solely for the use of that cat. The grand prize does not include any obligation, express or implied, to adapt, modify or design the catio to accommodate other animals, including other cats or household pets residing at the winner’s residence. Any request to modify the design, dimensions or features of the catio to accommodate additional animals will be refused or, if accepted, may be approved solely at the discretion of the Contest Sponsor, at the winner’s expense and subject to the limits set out in these Rules. No insurance coverage is provided by the Contest Sponsor in respect of the catio after its completion. The Contest Sponsor does not provide any insured or declared value for the catio. The winner acknowledges and agrees that the awarding of the grand prize is subject, without limitation, to the following conditions:
- the technical feasibility of the project and safe access to the site;
- compliance with municipal by‑laws, zoning regulations, building codes and any other applicable regulatory requirements;
- compliance with any neighbourhood rules, internal regulations, condominium declarations, building regulations or similar requirements;
- where applicable, compliance with the terms of any lease or rental agreement, including obtaining the written consent of the property owner;
- obtaining, at the winner’s sole cost, all required authorizations, consents or permits, including those from the property owner, condominium association, municipality or any other competent authority;
- the condition that the health and physical condition of the winner’s cat reasonably allows it to benefit from the installation of a catio; where, in the reasonable assessment of the Contest Sponsor, the cat’s health condition, including a medical condition, physical limitation or veterinary recommendation, would render construction inappropriate, unnecessary or potentially harmful, the Contest Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, not to proceed with the grand prize as described, and to apply the substitution provisions set out herein or elect not to award the grand prize, without additional compensation;
- the ability of the Contest Sponsor to identify and retain a qualified and available contractor capable of designing and building the catio in accordance with these Rules and within the maximum allocated budget; if, despite reasonable efforts, no such contractor can be retained, the grand prize may be deemed impracticable, in which case the Contest Sponsor may apply the substitution provisions herein or elect not to award the grand prize, without additional compensation.
The Contest Sponsor assumes no responsibility for obtaining permits, authorizations or consents. Any modification requested by the winner that results in costs exceeding the maximum value of the grand prize will be entirely at the winner’s expense. Ongoing compliance of the catio with municipal regulations, building or condominium rules or any applicable requirements following completion is solely the responsibility of the winner. The awarding of the grand prize does not create any ongoing contractual relationship between the winner and the Contest Sponsor beyond the obligations expressly set out in these Rules. Likewise, routine maintenance, repairs and any upkeep of the catio after completion are solely the responsibility of the winner.
The grand prize is not redeemable for cash at the winner’s request and may not be transferred, exchanged or substituted except as determined by the Contest Sponsor in accordance with these Rules. However, if, for any reason whatsoever, including technical, regulatory, contractual or residential impracticability, the grand prize cannot be awarded as described, the Contest Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute the grand prize with another prize of equivalent value, or to award a cash payment not exceeding CAD $10,000, or to elect not to award the grand prize. Where a cash payment is made, payment will be issued by Interac e‑Transfer or by any other payment method determined by the Contest Sponsor, subject to the winner providing the required information and complying with applicable conditions. The Contest Sponsor assumes no responsibility for delays, refusals, restrictions or any taxes imposed by financial institutions, tax authorities or payment service providers.
b. Secondary prizes. Ten (10) secondary prizes will be awarded. Each secondary prize consists of a prize package with a maximum value of eight hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $800), taxes included, which may include, without limitation, Masters of the Universe merchandise, figurines (action figures), Temptations treats, and cat accessories or toys, as determined by the Contest Sponsor in its sole discretion.
The exact composition of each secondary prize may vary. Any images or descriptions of prizes used in Contest‑related communications are for illustrative purposes only. Secondary prizes must be accepted as awarded and are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash or any other form of compensation, in whole or in part. No cash substitution or monetary payment is available for secondary prizes under any circumstances. Each participant may win only one (1) prize, either the grand prize or a secondary prize. If a secondary prize or any component thereof cannot be awarded as described for any reason, the Contest Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute it with a prize of approximately equal retail value, without any cash compensation, or to elect not to award the prize.
9. HOW TO CLAIM A PRIZE. Potential winners of the grand prize and the secondary prizes will be contacted by the Contest Sponsor or its representatives, including the Administrator, through the social media platform used to participate in the Contest, in order to provide instructions on how to claim their prize. As part of the prize claim process, potential winners may be required to provide a valid email address and any other information reasonably required to enable verification of eligibility and prize fulfillment.
In order to be declared an official winner, each potential winner must:
a. Confirm their eligibility to participate in the Contest and compliance with these Rules;
b. Respond to the winner notification message within five (5) business days following the first attempt at contact;
c. Execute and return, within the prescribed timeframe, any documents required by the Contest Sponsor, including without limitation a declaration of eligibility, a liability release and, where applicable, a consent authorizing the use of their name, city of residence, image, voice and submitted content for advertising and promotional purposes, without additional compensation; and
d. Correctly answer a skill‑testing mathematical question, without assistance of any kind, mechanical or otherwise, where required by law.
In the case of the grand prize, the winner must also reasonably cooperate with the Contest Sponsor in order to allow for the evaluation of the feasibility of the project, including by providing relevant information relating to their residence, subject to these Rules.
Should a potential winner fail to satisfy any of the conditions set out above, or if the potential winner cannot be contacted within the prescribed timeframe, such individual will be disqualified and will forfeit all rights to the prize. In such event, the prize may, at the sole discretion of the Contest Sponsor, be awarded to another eligible participant in accordance with these Rules or may not be awarded.
Subject to confirmation of eligibility, winners may be publicly announced by the Contest Sponsor, including on the Contest Website and/or on social media, by displaying their first name, the initial of their last name and their username on the social media platform used to participate. The Contest Sponsor is under no obligation to publicly announce the identity of any winner or to publish or disclose any information relating thereto, and reserves the right, at its sole discretion, not to make any such announcement.
From the time the prize is awarded, or in the case of the grand prize, once the services constituting the prize have been completed, the winner assumes sole responsibility for the use, maintenance and enjoyment of the prize. The Contest Sponsor and the Contest Parties disclaim all responsibility or liability for any damage, injury, loss or harm of any kind, whether direct or indirect, arising from or related to the acceptance, use or delivery of the prize, or, where applicable, its completion.
10. SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM DISCLAIMER. This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, approved by or associated with Instagram, TikTok or any other social media platform used in connection with this Contest. Participants acknowledge and agree that the social media platforms are fully released from any and all liability arising out of or related to the administration of the Contest, participation in the Contest, the selection of winners or the awarding of prizes. Any questions, comments or claims regarding the Contest must be directed exclusively to the Administrator at temptations@elitedigitalagency.com and not to any social media platform.
11. PUBLICITY RELEASE. Each winner consents to the use of their name, social media username or handle, image, likeness, portrait, persona, statements and the name of their city, province or territory of residence for promotional, commercial and advertising purposes, at any time, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, including live television, worldwide, including on the Contest Sponsor’s social media platforms and websites or on third-party platforms or websites, without further notice, review or approval and without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
12. ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal and provincial laws and local regulations. By participating in this Contest, participants agree to be bound by these Rules and by all decisions of the Contest judges (who may be employees, agents or independent third parties of the Contest Sponsor or the Administrator), which decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest. As a condition of participation, participants acknowledge and agree: (a) that under no circumstances shall a participant be permitted to recover punitive, incidental, consequential or any other damages; the participant hereby waives any and all rights to claim such damages; (b) that any and all causes of action arising out of or relating to this Contest or any prize awarded, or participation therein, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and (c) that any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out‑of‑pocket costs incurred, excluding attorneys’ fees and court costs. This exclusion or limitation of liability shall not apply to the extent that such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law. The Contest Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to exclude any individual from future participation in the Contest if it determines that such individual has: (a) attempted to tamper with the entry process or any other operation of the Contest; (b) failed to comply with these Rules or attempted to circumvent them; (c) committed fraud or attempted to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest; or (d) acted toward the Contest Sponsor, any Contest Party or any other participant in an unfair, inequitable, inappropriate, threatening, disruptive or harassing manner. In the event of any dispute regarding compliance with these Rules, the Contest Sponsor may rely, at its sole discretion, on data reasonably available to it through information technology systems under its control, and shall not be required to consider data or information obtained from any other source.
13. EVENTS INTERFERING WITH THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE CONTEST.
a. Termination, modification, suspension. The Contest Sponsor may, at any time and in its sole discretion, terminate the Contest, in whole or in part, modify it, or suspend it, without prior notice, in the event that any of the following circumstances occur, as determined exclusively by the Contest Sponsor: any interference with or impediment to the Contest Sponsor’s ability to administer the Contest as contemplated herein due to an event beyond its control, including, without limitation, an act of force majeure, fire, flood, public health emergency, epidemic, environmental or human‑caused crisis, earthquake, explosion, strike, telecommunications equipment failure, utility service disruptions, software viruses or malfunctions, computer programming errors, terrorist threats or activities, war (declared or undeclared), laws, ordinances or regulations enacted by federal, provincial, territorial or local governments, a public health crisis, a pandemic, an order of any court or governmental authority, or any other cause beyond the control of the Contest Sponsor. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, if, for any reason whatsoever, more participants receive notification of eligibility for a prize than the number of prizes available under these Rules, the Contest Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate the Contest in whole or in part, modify or suspend it, and to award only the number of prizes set out herein by means of a selection mechanism deemed fair and approved by the Contest Sponsor, for any prizes that have not yet been distributed at the time the Contest is terminated, suspended or modified.
b. Process in the event of early termination. In the event of early termination of the Contest pursuant to Section 13(a) above, notice will be posted online and a selection mechanism deemed fair and approved by the Contest Sponsor will be implemented to award any unclaimed prizes from among all eligible and non‑suspect entries received for the applicable prizes prior to such early termination. Under no circumstances shall the number of prizes awarded exceed the number of prizes stated in these Rules.
14. RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY. For the purposes of these Rules, the “Released Parties” include, without limitation, the Contest Sponsor, the Administrator, the Contest Parties, Mattel Canada, Amazon Studios and each of their respective directors, officers, shareholders, employees, agents, suppliers, partners, representatives and professional advisors, all of whom fully benefit from all exclusions, releases and limitations of liability set forth herein. By participating in the Contest, each participant agrees to release and forever discharge the Released Parties from any and all claims, demands, injuries, liabilities, losses or damages of any kind to persons or property, whether direct or indirect, arising in whole or in part from or in connection with participation in the Contest or the awarding, acceptance or use of any prize. None of the Released Parties shall be liable to any participant under any theory of liability, whether in tort, contract, strict liability, negligence or otherwise, for any loss or damage of any kind whatsoever, including, without limitation, direct, indirect, economic, exemplary, special, punitive, incidental or consequential damages.
Any damages that may be suffered are not irreparable and are not sufficient to entitle a participant to seek injunctive relief preventing the exploitation of any website, property, service, product or content owned or controlled by the Released Parties, and each participant hereby waives any right to enjoin or restrain the development, production, distribution, advertising, exhibition or exploitation of any website, service, property, product or content owned or controlled by the Contest Sponsor or any Released Party.
The Released Parties shall not be responsible for the actions, content or personal data of participants or third parties. Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all claims and damages, whether known or unknown, arising directly or indirectly from any claim made by a participant against a Released Party.
Further, participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all losses, costs, actions, claims, damages, expenses (including legal fees) or liabilities arising from or related to the use or misuse of the Contest Website by participants or third parties using their account, their access thereto, any breach of these Rules, or any infringement of any third‑party intellectual property rights or other rights. The Contest Sponsor reserves the right to assume the defence of any matter subject to indemnification by a participant, in which case the participant agrees to assist and cooperate fully in asserting any available defences. The Released Parties are not responsible for technical, hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions, including lost, corrupted or misdirected entries, damage caused by computer viruses of any kind, or any other damage that may limit a participant’s ability to participate in the Contest. The Released Parties are not responsible for late, lost, altered, misdirected, garbled, illegible, inaccurate or incomplete entries, emails or any communications of any kind, nor for any errors or problems of any kind, whether human, mechanical, technical, typographical or otherwise, or arising from any network, in connection with the operation or administration of the Contest, including, without limitation, errors in advertising, the Rules, the selection of winners, the processing of entries, the distribution of prizes or any Contest‑related materials.
15. PRIVACY. The Contest Sponsor respects participants’ right to privacy. Personal data collected in connection with the Contest is limited to the data necessary for the administration of the Contest, including, without limitation, data provided by potential winners for the purposes of verifying eligibility and awarding prizes.
With the consent of participants, the Contest Sponsor may collect, use and disclose personal information in accordance with the Contest Sponsor’s privacy policy in order to provide information regarding the Contest Sponsor’s future promotions or events.
Additional information regarding the collection, use and management of personal information is available in the Contest Sponsor’s privacy policy at the following address:
16. DISPUTES.
a. All disputes and questions concerning the structure, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Rules, the rights and obligations of participants, and the rights and obligations of the Contest Sponsor relating to the Contest shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, without regard to any conflict of laws principles. All participants irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario.
b. Any and all causes of action arising out of or relating to this Contest or any prize awarded, or participation in the Contest, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action or collective proceeding.
17. CONFLICTS AND DISCREPANCIES. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the Contest details contained in these Rules and the Contest details contained in any marketing or promotional materials related to the Contest (including, without limitation, online advertising, point‑of‑sale materials, television or print advertising, promotional packaging, any other promotional tools, or another language version of these Rules), the Contest details contained in the French version of these Rules shall prevail in the Province of Quebec, and the English version shall prevail in all other provinces and territories of Canada.
18. SEVERABILITY. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions. If any provision of these Rules is held to be invalid, unenforceable or unlawful, these Rules shall nonetheless remain in full force and effect and shall be construed as if such invalid, unenforceable or unlawful provision had never been included.
19. EXCLUSION.
